Transforming People's Lives

Monday’s Weekly MEM0 062722– This Week’s Strategy – On going job

Success is an ongoing job. Every successful person knows they must work on being successful. It does not happen one day and then they take a rest. So, if you are at a standstill, and wondering what’s happening, do some reflection.

There is never a day where you do not have to commit to anything, where you do not have to discipline yourself or have the discipline to take some action. There is never a day when you would not be required to take accountability for your actions or to act with credibility and good judgment. This is part of success where you must maintain a positive attitude and work at it.  Self development is an ongoing job.

Every day you get the opportunity to improve yourself, be a better version of who you were yesterday. If you are not taking advantage of this, you would not progress.

This week and always let’s take advantage of the opportunities provided daily to work on being successful.  Let’s take accountability for our actions and let’s be a better version of who we were the day before, remembering that we are a work in progress and this is ongoing job. Let’s make things happen, not only for ourselves but for our loved ones.

While we are at it, prices of everything have increased, just check your gas bills, trips to the gas station are now more expensive than your weekend holiday getaways so let’s do our part. This is an opportunity to save on your gas bill and help others save on theirs. Check it out here :https://www.govvi.com/go/hotwheels

Monday’s Weekly MEM0 062022– This Week’s Strategy – Time to reset

Take time to reset. June is almost over. Where are you with your goals. Maybe it is time to reset your priorities.

What is important to you right now? Have your priorities change?

Sometimes we refuse to relook where we are, maybe because we feel that things would get better. We tell ourselves that it would change, although nothing changes. When last did you sit and look to see where you are:

  • How are you doing in your relationship? Are you satisfied with how it is going? Are you spending quality time with your loved ones? Do you know what’s going on with them?

  • What about your job? Are you happy with your job? Do you feel a sense of accomplishment? What can you do better?

  • How is your business going? Are you getting new clients? have you been able to maintain your client database to encourage repeat business? How can you improve your business?

The bills would cnmtinue to come and pile up. It is not too late to make some changes. You a half way through the year so there is still time to finish strong at year end. Take the time now and reassess where you are . Do it now or you would forget or find an excuse not to deal with it.

Let’s get serious one of the things you must relook is your expenses. Have you noticed lately that you are filling up more often at the gas station? This means you are spending more for gas and could only mean gas prices have increased.

If you are like me and most people, have lots of things to do so you are on the road all the time, sun up to sun down. Check out a new way to save on gas and you can even help others save: https://www.govvi.com/go/hotwheels

Monday’s Weekly MEM0 061322– This Week’s Strategy – Make decisions in quiet times

The best decisions are made when you quiet the mind. Some people make decisions at the spur of the moment and others when they are hyped up or feel pressured or when everything is chaotic.

Most times when we make decisions at the spur of the moment, we regret taking that position.  Imagine there is an aggressive customer, and you give him a discount or a better rate then realize that was not the best option. There are also those persons who during an argument they say things and do things without thinking only to realize that must have been one of the worst decisions they made.

Every second of the day we are making decisions. There are the life questions where we need to decide:

  • What do I eat?
  • What do I wear?
  • What do I say?
  • Where do I go?
  • How do I live?

Then there are other questions like:

  •  What business should I be in?
  • Is this the right option for my career or my business?
  • What do I tell the client?
  • How do I meet my goals?

There are so many decisions to make and one of the most important guides is to b present and make your decision from a point of knowledge and quietness. It is in the quiet times you can explore all your options and select the one that best suits your challenge at that time.  You do not even need to be alone just some quiet times with friends can bring you to a point of recognizing what you need to do.

Monday’s Weekly MEM0 060622– This Week’s Strategy – We never know what’s next, so think before you act.

We may try to plan and plan but never know what would happen next, so take a page from Ernest Hemingway: “Before you act, listen. Before you react, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try. Before you die, live”.

It is always a good idea not to make decisions in a haste or when you are angry or tired. The best decisions are made when you take a moment and think before you do anything. Is it easy? No! Imagine being on the job or in the business and have a number of persons coming to you for help or guidance. To be able to think about your decisions you have to practice. Practice daily and you would see an improvement.
