Monday Morning MEM0 041122– This Week’s Strategy – There are no failures


In life there are really no failures


If you are saying yesterday was 100 days and you are a failure because you have not seen any improvements in your business or life think again.


Think about it there are no failures. Every event is a part of life placed there to learn and develop. Look back at the events you thought of as failures and see the good that came out of them. Now some people maybe so focussed on the failure and the negativity such that it’s as though they have placed blinkers on so they cannot see the good or the opportunity to learn and develop.


Next time something does not go as you would like it, or you think it is a failure, look a little deeper:

  • Ask yourself what lessons are you suppose to learn from this?
  • Do I need additional training?
  • Should I out source some aspect of what I am doing?
  • Am I spending the time time given to me as I should ?


These are just some questions, but the list can go on and on. Add some more for yourself.

This week take the time to focus on what really matters to you. So many of us do things just for doing sake, sometimes it is because we have always done it this way, or we want to help someone.  Let us take time to identify what really matters to us in the business, our professional lives and personal lives.

Where is your focus? If you are driving and you aren’t focussed you would definitely encounter some challenges, you may get involve in an accident and all the issues concerning this. Not to mention you may have hurt yourself or others and damage your car. So it is with focus, when you are not focus people could get hurt, you could get hurt.

Take time to focus on why do you do the things you do? Why are you in this business or even in your job?  We all have a purpose so let’s try to refocus and reimagine the possibilities on where we are and where we want to be and take some action to get there.

Monday Morning MEM0 140322– This Week’s Strategy – It’s a lie

It is a lie because you can’t grow your nails by yourself and you can’t grow your business by yourself. You can’t meet all those sale targets by yourself. You need customers, suppliers, partners, people who would recommend you and those who would support you. Can you grow one strand of your hair by yourself? For you ladies can you grow your natural finger nails on your own?

I am not here to discus religion but there is nothing we can do on our own. We can try and try but unless you recognize there is help and you can ask God for help, you would continue to keep trying and trying. You may have some success but it may not last. The saying in the Bible is: you do not have because you do not ask.


So if you have been telling yourself I can grow my nails naturally on my own and I do not need any help or I do not need help with growing my business, I can do it on my own. Think again. It’s a lie. You would continue to keep hitting your head against a wall, so be open to God’s guidance in the people that you meet because God has no hands or legs just ours. Don’t keep lying to yourself be open, ask for what you want and God would send the right people to help you with your sales and your business.

Monday Morning MEM0 070322– This Week’s Strategy – Don’t be disappointed.


It is hard not to be disappointed when things do not go your way. Imagine you are banking on some client to come through and on the last minute she changes her mind for some simply reason that you can’t explain. The first thing is to get disappointed. You know that is life, sometimes things just don’t flow the way you want them to flow. The client cancels the sale, you fail an exam for your MBA studies, or your child fails an exam. The list goes on and on and sometimes it is something you just never thought would go wrong.

I am here to tell you there is no need to be disappointed, as that is life. That is how life shows up. The experience is trying to show you or tell you something. Days, months or years after you would tell yourself, you know if this had come through I would not have been able to do this, or that or to be where I am now.

So, this week don’t beat up yourself when things do not go your way, yes, you could be disappointed but don’t stay in that space for a long time, look for the good from that experience as that’s life and move on.

Lots of people forget that this is a way to get customers.


Do you want to grow your business quickly? Lots of people are trying to grow their business but forget that there is a simple way to do this. They  continue to struggle to get customers . 

They also continue to forget or overlook the #1 thing that can get them customers and it is not only how you dress.  This is something we all have but we keep looking all over for ways to get customers. Why do you think all those successful  entrepreneurs and professionals  are constantly doing well?  They build a good reputation.  They have their own personal brand.  There is a certain way they treat their clients,  their suppliers, their staff, coworkers and even their loved ones.

If you have not started as yet, you need to start now to build your reputation and your personal brand. This is the most forgotten way and you need to move on it fast. This is not just the product or service you offer but who is at the back of that product or service. When people speak about your product or service they speak about you, it’s the feelings, the appreciation, what would make them remember you to do a repeat purchase. Most people complete repeat purchases because they like the people there, they like how they are treated. Staff stay with the company because they like how they are treated and that culture comes from you.

So the forgotten way to grow your business is to focus on your reputation or personal brand. Do things with integrity, treat people well, leave a good impression wherever you pass. Remember you only pass that way once. You only have one opportunity with the client or supplier or even a loved one to create that lasting impression.

Monday Morning MEM0 21022022– This Week’s Strategy – #1 Way how not to sabotage yourself?


#1 way how not to sabotage yourself is to do things right the first time.

It is easy to take short cuts or to do something quickly because you are in a hurry or you just want to get rid of the client or the person in front of you.

One of the reasons you would want to do things right the first time is because mistakes cost money. Imagine taking a short cut in producing your product or delivering your service. The results could be great but on the other hand could be detrimental. It would cost more if you have to redo a product or imagine having to call a customer to say something is wrong with the product you sold them. There are many ways to do things, however you have to identify the right way and stick to it. It always costs more to do over something than to do it right the first time, but when you do it right you stop sabotaging yourself.


When you make a mistake, it directly affects your reputation. Reputation is key to your business or job, so you do not want to jeopardize this. Most people store your mistakes in their mind, so they would think twice about purchasing a product or service from you. Making mistakes help in sabotaging your reputation so focus on what you have to do and do it right the first time. After all you can’t go back in time and repair your reputation.


I am sure you can find. a lot more reasons to do things right the first time. This week don’t sabotage what you do or yourself,  focus on doing things right the first time. In the long run you won’t regret it.

Monday Morning MEM0 14022022– This Week’s Strategy – How can I do that?

How can I do that?

How can I get and keep clients or close friends or what would it take to get me what I want?

Well, you certainly want to get and keep clients and close friends.

It is a given we were not born into a world by ourselves, and we are all connected.

Some people have problems getting and keeping clients, close friends or even maintaining a good relationship.  Instead of focusing on how they can do that, they focus on what is not good about them – I am not good with customers, I am not good at making friends, people don’t like me, that is not my personality. Even where God is concerned, they are like: I did not tell Jesus to die for me.

When a problem arises whether it is getting clients, maintaining your relationships the first question to ask is: How can I do that?  When you do this the mind starts exploring options that you can use.  So, in your business ask: how can get more clients and start brainstorming. In your relationships ask: how can I maintain my relationships or get into a relationship. Or even what would it take to get me the clients that I need or the relationships that is right for me.

Nothing comes without effort so today and every day you get the opportunity to ask yourself how to live like you never lived before and love like you never love before. What it would take to get me there?
